It is hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that it has been four years since I packed up for a months trip to New Zealand for a study abroad program. That trip is hands down the greatest adventure I have ever been on. We saw SO much while we were there. We started on the North Island and made our way all along the South Island down to my favorite spot, Queenstown.

This trip pushed me physically and really expanded my comfort zone and love for travel. It’s funny how when you are away from your actual home and staying in all kinds of different places, how your suitcase and camera really become that home for you. I always get that feeling when I am packing my bags for a trip even today. How I know it isn’t actually home but something about it is so comfortable that it feels like I’m home when I am traveling.

Anyway, here are some of my most favorite pictures of all time that happen to be from that trip!

I miss that place and all of the endless adventures but it will always be the trip that fueled my love of travel and exploring which I could never trade for anything. Do you have a trip that lit a fire for you like that?

I hope all of you have a great Christmas this weekend and eat lots of cookies 😉
